Ants work together. They work together to bring food into the nest. They also bring seeds to the nest but the important job is to throw away the husks. Ants save food in a special room for the future.
The queen lay eggs. This is an important job. If the queen dies there won’t be any more workers ants. They carry the eggs away to another room to take care of them.
Ants also dig tunnels and make rooms bigger by digging new rooms an tunnels. Worker ants pick up pieces of dirt in their jaws.
As you can, see ants are interesting to learn about because they work every day. They bring food to the nest and take care of the eggs.
